1. How to Install KV Antivirus Software?
Step1.Download the KV2009 software, and then begin the installation. Click “Next” to read the License Agreement, or you may click “Cancel” to quit installation.

Step2. If you agree to the terms of the License Agreement, click Agree to continue. If you select Disagree , you cannot continue to the installation. |

Step 3. Select a suitable installation mode and then click Next.
Tip: There are 3 modes for you to choose.
Recommended : install recommended components.
Min : install min components.
Self (for advanced users) : choose the components you want to install.

Step 4.select the install Path and click next
Tip:Jiangmin intill path MUST be chosed. the default is at disk C.

Step 5. Select the components and click Next.
Tip: Jiangmin common component MUST be installed. The
default is recommended. |

Step6.Select the action you want to chose:
a. you can chose the option: scan before installation.
With this it performs scanning before installation as
follows: |

If you want to skip scanning directly, just remove the
check mark before the option.
b. you can chose the option: Install Jiangmin Toolbar.
With this it bring you more convenience to use your web
browser, you can remove the check mark also, if you
dont want the toolbar installed.
c. you can chose the option: Creat Jiangin Icon on
desktop, With this it can creat an icon of KV antivirus
software on your desktop, through which you can start
the antivirus software as quickly as possible.
after all these options, you need to click "next" to go
on. |

Step 7.Click "Finish". Then congratulations! You have set up KV antivirus software successfully! |

2. How to register KV Antivirus software?
Serial Number
ONLY for installation.
Provided in the first page of KV Antivirus software User's Guide.
Composed of 5 groups of characters, each of which consists of 5 characters that combine numbers with letters(without I, O and U), case-insensitive.
Shown in the first page of Jiangmin Antivirus KV2009 User's Guide
Step1: Buy the serial No. and install KV Antivirus software.
Step2: Enter your serial No.
Step3: After enter your serial No. click" confirm". The software will check it.

Step4: After verify that all the information are correct, and then will appear successful to register then click "ok". |
3. How to update KV Antivirus software?
About Update
Update is the important step to protect your computer against the latest threats. It is essential to update KV Antivirus databases on a regular basis. If you do not do this, KV antivirus will not detect the latest malicious programs. This is why we release updates daily, to ensure that you are protected against the latest threats.
First update after installation
If you are a new user of KV Antivirus software, before updating for the first time you must make sure that you have had a KV license file. If you haven't obtained a KV license file, you MUST purchase one.

4. How to uninstall KV Antivirus Software?
Choose one of the following:
Method 1:
a. Click Start-> Settings-> Control Panel-> Add/Remove Programs
b. Select KV Antivirus Software and click Change/Remove
Method 2: Click Start -> Programs -> KV Antivirus Software-> Uninstall
Notice: If you want to re-install KV Antivirus Software after uninstallation, there are 2 ways: Serial Number or License File . If you have License File, follow the installation steps(see 2.2 Installation ) when re-installing. If you don't, visit http://club.jiangmin.com/to login with KV Passport username and password , and then download your License File. The time length of KV is written in your License File. For detailed information, see 3.4 Obtaining License File. |
